With the cancellation of Cork, it's all eyes on Punchestown today where the ground is soft, with fresh ground available, on the hurdle and chase tracks and yielding to soft for the cross-country race which gets proceedings under way at 11.35am.
There was 5mm of rain overnight and it's set to be mainly dry and cold with fresh winds.
They'll be using the inside straight on the hurdle course on the first circuit only and finishing on the main straight.
The John Durkan Memorial Chase is a race to savour with course specialist, and last year's winner, Fastorslow taking on dual Gold Cup winner Galopin Des Champs and last season's classy novice Fact Or File.
Outsider Blue Lord (temperature) is an absentee with a field of eight due to face the starter for the Grade 1 contest at 2.25.
