Prima Vista seals quickfire Meade double
Prima Vista kept favourite backers warm in the cold at Leopardstown with a smooth victory in the two mile handicap hurdle to land a double for Noel Meade.
Davy Condon picked up the running at the bend and galloped away relentlessly to record a four and a half length win over Tijuana Dancer Taking Stock completed the placings.
Meade is targeting the MCR Hurdle. He said: "I'd like to bring him back for the MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown on Saturday week but he needs a penalty to get into it. Hopefully he will get into it now."
Bottom weight Strain of Fame was backed at all rates on course from 13/2 to 9/2 but proved disappointing in ninth place.
