Premier Queen stormed home in the final furlong to take the concluding mares' bumper for Prunella Dobbs. Faith Du Val raced down the centre of the track and as clear of Premier Queen in the final two furlongs.
Premier Queen hugged the rail on the inner and and began to stay on strongly a furlong and a half down as the revs visually dropped on the leader Faith Du Val.
Premier Queen had got to grips with her by the furlong pole and she forged on well to take the spoils by two and three quarter lengths. Ministers Hill the 10/11 favourite and a full sister to Briars Hill, came home nicely on debut for second without landing a glove on the winner. Areutheoneiwant (12/1) came in nine lengths adrift in third as Faith Du Val weakened out of contention.
Jockey Tom Hamilton said: "She was very good and is a very tough filly. She had a very good run at Thurles the last day and is very well-bred.
"She stayed going and goes through that ground well."
Premier Queen was beaten by a head in a mares' bumper at Thurles last month.
