Powerstation too strong
The Eamonn O'Connell trained Powerstation under Andrew McNamara, ran out the easy four and a half length winner of the Vendee Hurdle at Thurles today.
Afterwards O'Connell, who holds a restricted license at Cullen, Co Tipperary and was recording his second winner, later briefly reported "Powerstation won on heavy ground before and got through it again today. Hurdling is a little easier on him than chasing and we may stay over the smaller obstacles next."
