Powerstation back to his winning ways
The Eamonn O’Connell trained Powerstation was back to his winning ways after he came home in front of the Woodiesdiy.com Grade 2 Christmas Hurdle in the hands of Andrew McNamara.
McNamara came with a challenge entering the straight and hit the front after the last and kept on well to post a one three parts of a length win over the fast finishing Oscar Dan Dan
Co Tipperary handler O’Connell said afterwards: “We’ll aim for the Galmoy Hurdle at Navan next.”
“He’ll probably go back for the Word Hurdle at Cheltenham he may as well have another go at it.”
“He’s been a bit unlucky and he needs to come with a run. Andy gave him a great ride.”
“I would like to thank Edward O’Grady for letting me use his gallop and get the last piece of work into him as my gallop was frozen.”
