Time For A Pint proved much too good for his rivals as he ran out an easy winner of the concluding bumper at Galway this evening.
Nina Carberry's mount travelled strongly throughout in the 2m2f contest before cruising into the lead at the two furlong marker.
Carberry asked the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding to stretch entering the straight and the 9/10 favourite galloped on strongly to record a ten-length success.
The Christy Roche-trained newcomer Hairy O'Malley proved best of the rest when staying on inside the final furlong to claim the runner-up spot.
Time For A Pint was making it two-from-two having also scored on his debut at Downpatrick last month.
“He's not a bad horse – he's a big galloper,” said Elliott.
“They probably weren't going fast enough for him there. He has the shape of a big chaser and if he's not sold he'll go to Cheltenham in October for a bumper.”
