Locally based trainer James Cousins was on the mark in the Farrycarraig Maiden Hurdle at Wexford today, staying well to win under Niall Madden.

The son of Lord Americo raced prominently throughout, led from five out, before staying on gamely for a four lengths win over King Rocco

Cousins, who trains at Kilmore Quay, was not available for a quote.
