- Parsons seen to good effect
Parsons seen to good effect
Amy Parsons was in the winners enclosure at The Curragh this afternoon after winning The Crown Paints Handicap aboard Zhukhov trained by Tom McCourt and owned by Barry Doyle & Edward Brady.
Zhukhov has been a good servant to the McCourt yard making it his 4th career win to date. Parsons is in full time employment with Tom McCourt and also rides out for Joanna Morgan one morning a week. Zhukhov and Parsons have formed a good partnership over the last few Seasons and she has won on the gelding 3 times now.
McCourt said afterwards, "Thrilled with that, it's nice to win a pot like that. I thought he had a serious chance today with the lightweight with it being over 5f and the ground was a serious help. He has had a long season so we won't be too pushed on running him again this season."
