Onzo Mor gets chance and takes it
Onzo Mor (at least a six in morning trading and eventually sent off a 4/1 chance) landed the Boylesports Maiden Hurdle under Andrew Lynch for Caroline Hutchinson. The grey beat off the attentions of Be Definite by four lengths.
Well-backed favourite, Rochester Row was in front when taking a fatal fall at the fourth last hurdle.
Hutchinson said of Onzo Mor: "He has been balloted out seven times and it is hard to keep a horse on the boil for two months. I'm delighted for his owners as it has been frustrating for them (the Budi Beag Partnership from Swords). The plan is to head to Galway now for a novice hurdle. I expected him to run well there but not to win that well."
This success was keeping up a good spell for Andrew Lynch who won on Berties Dream at Sligo yesterday.
