One Fine Day was too strong for Suehail when it mattered most

The form of One Fine Day s Listowel maiden win has worked out in the interim with victories for the second and third Romantic Stroll and Custom Cut. For those that made One Fine Day the 5/4 favourite for the "Frank And Walters" Handicap at Leopardstown there was a brief spell when it looked like she mightn't be up to it but she ultimately prevailed by half a length from Suehail
It was inside the last that the victorious daughter of Choisir proved strongest under Fran Berry as Captain Cullen ran a nice race on his return and ended up in third place.
Berry rode One Fine Day for Johnny and Jessica Harrington and he said: "It was a good performance with nine stone eleven.
"They went steady and it turned into a bit of a sprint but she battled well.
"She's learning and she might go for the fillies handicap on Derby weekend.
"They'll get plenty of fun from her – she's tough." (GC & EM)
