Barry Murphy partner to winning trainer said afterwards: “He won a big handicap at Galway about 4 years ago. He’s his own worst enemy as he was very keen but he’s begun to settle.”

“I walked the track earlier and we decided to go wide as the ground on the inside is very tacky. We will mix it over hurdles and fences. He’s very small and he loves it around Tramore.”

Winning trainer Liz Doyle who is expecting her first child is due to go into hospital shortly.
