Oliver/Hayes in form at Leopardstown
‘The Coronas’ Live On Stage After Racing Fillies Maiden saw a game winner in the Andy Oliver trained Cilium after she ran out 1 length victory in the hands of the Chris Hayes for owner Tony Hanahoe.
“That’s the first time all the conditions have suited this filly as in she got her ground, trip and course. She had a rating of 71 and we were tempted to go down the handicapping route with her but I always felt she was good enough to win a maiden,” said a delighted Oliver.
“We will probably step up her in class now and look for a bit of Black Type next there is a Listed Race coming up in Tipperary in a few weeks time. We won’t rush her and hope everything goes in her favour.”
