O'Farrell on the mark at Bellewstown
Carutomark followed up on her recent win at Wexford on Friday when taking division two of the Tote Trifecta Handicap Hurdle under a fine ride by Conor O’Farrell.
Paul Magniers charge made his progress to join the leaders three flights from home.
O’Farrell had the Distant Music filly in contention at the last where slight but the pair kept on well under a strong drive to get up and lead close home.
Winning jockey O’Farrell said afterwards: “That’s my first winner in awhile it was badly wanted. It was hard work but well worth it.”
“It was my first time to sit on the mare, she won her beginners on Friday and she’s in foal to Mr Dinos, so she won’t have many runs left.”
