O'Donoghue times it well on Dandy
Dandy Boy pounced late to grab victory in the seven-furlong handicap at Dundalk.
Colm O'Donoghue got a split in the closing stages to edge out Tellelle by a head in a bunch finish.
"He would have been an unlucky loser if he didn't get the gap," said trainer David Marnane afterwards.
"He's a lovely horse and will make into a nice horse next year. We'll put him away now and hopefully he might progress into a stakes horse.
"It's been a good season and it's great to finish it off well. It's great for Mr Al Basti, who I'm sure will be delighted watching this in Dubai."
