O'Brien completes Leopardstown double
The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden caused somewhat of a surprise when 16/1 shot Snow Blizzard from the Aidan O'Brien stable came home in front under Colm O'Donoghue.
O'Donoghue made all on aboard the Saddler's Wells colt and kept on well inside the final furlong to hold off the challenge of Maverick Man by half a length.
Stable mate September Morn who was the 4/6 favourite finished third.
Winning trainer O'Brien said afterwards: "He was bit green in front. You'd have to think a lot of him after doing what he did first tome out."
"It's grand that he won and we're all happy."
