The Dermot Weld trained, Leigh Roche partnered Highdive made a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Killarney today.
The Lady O'Reilly owned daughter of Big Bad Bob finished well to edge ahead near the line, for a short head and a head win over Acrux Cross and She's Gold.
Roche later stated "the grass gallops had been closed recently so it was hard to get them away and you're not expecting them to win first-time out. She was green but the penny dropped in the straight and she hit the line well.
"I was delighted with her and she's going to improve a lot from that as she was so green."
Trainer Weld had earlier won the featured Listed race with Bella Estrella
