Naas Double for Davy Russell
Davy Russell completed a 32/1 double when Oscar India not surprisingly found the best reserves of stamina to get up close home and beat Clew Bay Cove by three parts of a length in the James & Helen Hannan Handicap Chase.
Henry de Bromhead's ex-hunter chaser found top-gear up the straight over this two mile three furlong trip as pace-setter Lakil Princess wilted from two out.
Oscar India is a nine-year-old bred by Mike Thornhill by Oscar out of Curry Lunch, a pedigree long-associated with the de Bromhead yard. Corymandel and Coryrose are a winning half-brother and sister. (EM)
