The big money Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at Dundalk saw Acquiescent land the spoils for John Murphy and Joe Doyle.
Owned by Donal Mac A'Bhaird from Glanmire, and bred by him with trainer John Murphy’s Highfort Stud, the daughter of Footstepsinthesand chased the leader and ran freely early.
However when required the three-year-old found plenty to beat favourite Sindhia by a neck.
“She ran very well here the last night and was very tough and honest there,” said Murphy's son George.
“We'll look for something similar again. She's a nice filly and she's improving.
“That was a lovely pot for her and we're delighted with that.”
