Willie Mullins notched his fifth win of Listowel's festival week today, as Where's My Jet (7/2) defeated stablemate My Great Mate (4/6f) to provide the champion trainer with a '1-2' in the Allman Contracts Novice Hurdle.
Ridden by the trainer's nephew Danny Mullins, Where's My Jet made all to score and while runner-up My Great Mate briefly threatened rounding the final turn, he failed to quicken sufficiently and was held by two-and-three-quarter lengths.
Jockey Mullins reported: "He didn't get home in Galway but went to the start very fresh and we thought he was a much better horse than that. He won nicely in Killarney though and today beat Willie's other horse who is no slouch.
“I was happy that I was able to get a few lengths away from the others and his jumping was making ground, rather than me using petrol to do it. That is always a help when it comes to the business end and it was a good performance.”
