Mullins doubles up with Polmar
Willie Mullins recorded a double this afternoon when Polmar landed the Irish Daily Mirror Grade A Handicap Chase bringing the trainer's tally to five winners after two days of the festival.
David Casey settled the Lesotho gelding in behind the leaders before striking the front with four fences to jump.
The pair kicked clear from two out and kept on well to score by two and a half lengths.
Winning trainer Mullins said afterwards: "We've waited almost two years for the good ground and that was the difference with him today."
"He's a big galloper and he just couldn't handle the soft ground. We will keep him on the go as long as the ground remains safe."
