Trainer Joanna Morgan completed a double at Roscommon today when her A Hit Is A Hit landed the concluding Athleague Bumper, under Andrew Duff.

A half brother, by Kahyasi, to Cheltenham winner Sky's The Limit, A Hit Is A Hit chased the leaders, led over a furlong out before staying on well for a four and a half lengths win.

Afterwards Duff, riding his sixth bumper winner of the season, mentioned “A Hit Is A Hit is a grand horse who loved that ground. He stays well and will have no problem getting further.”
