Muredach Kelly and Steven Clements after Fayette County's win

Steven Clements (based with Paul Nicholls) made all in the concluding Winged Love INH Flat Race at Down Royal and his mount Fayette County ended up keeping Lots Of Memories at bay by two and three parts of a length.
Fayette County, a fourth-time out 20/1 chance trained by Muredach Kelly, had a reduced advantage before halfway but inside the last he found more to prevail.
Clements revealed: "When Muredach rang me at Cheltenham on Thursday he said the horse hadn't been quite right before.
"He was also worried about the ground and he was glad to see rain today.
"He's still a big baby. He was able to dictate it and fill his lungs and he went away from them again. There's more to come from him."
The successful sire, Golden Lariat, stands at Tullaghansleek Stud in Castletown-Geoghegan in County Westmeath and this was his first winner. (MG & EM)
