Second earlier on the card with Supreme Vinnie Denise O'Shea and Rachael Blackmore struck in the Quirke uPVC Windows (Clonmel) Handicap Hurdle with Oisin James
County Tipperary native Blackmore has really gone from strength to strength since Oisin James formed part of a double that she achieved at Tramore on May 4th.
There was another brace at Kilbeggan last Friday, and she's since become familiar with the famous Gigginstown silks aboard First Lieutenant and Alamein
A mistake two out from Oisin James wasn't going to deny the 9/2 chance, and he led close home for a half length verdict over Danali
There was half a length and a neck back to Urtheoneiwant and Misdflight in third and fourth.
"Rachael gave him an absolutely brilliant ride and it's great to have her. She rides out for me every Monday and schools all the horses for me," revealed Miss O'Shea.
"I rent a yard from Liam Burke and he is fantastic to me. This horse will have one more run over hurdles and then will run over fences.
"I'd also like to thank Mikey O'Sullivan and Ger O'Leary who also ride out for me - I failed to mention them the last day (at Tramore)!"
