Money talks for Lady Giselle in Tipp feature

Lady Giselle bridged a two-year losing run to record her third career win in the featured Tipperary Racecourse Celebrating 100 Years Handicap.
The six-year-old daughter of Indian Haven has slipped down the ratings this year, and those who supported her on track from 7/1 into 9/2 were well rewarded.
Chris Hayes sent her to the front off the home turn and asserted well over a furlong out.
However Hayes needed to get serious as 6/4 favourite Ancient Sands threw down a challenge inside the final furlong, and there was a diminishing half-length between the pair at the line.
Winning trainer John Joe Walsh said, "A bit of nice ground is what she wants and she couldn't handle the ground at Limerick (previously). Her light weight helped and she was overdue that.
"She comes to herself at this time of year and will go for another handicap as long as the ground doesn't dry up."
