Miss Eyecatcher made all to take the Cheesestrings Mares Novice Chase under David Mullins for Roger McGrath.
Successful at the Galway Festival on her penultimate start, the six-year-old daughter of King's Theatre then ran well to finish second on her racecourse debut over fences at Killarney.
Having opened on-course at 11/8 this afternoon, she eventually went off the clear 5/4 favourite in the colours of the Connery Family Syndicate.
Sent straight to the front by Mullins, the bay victor jumped well throughout and went clear after two out, going on to score easily by eight and a half lengths. Ask Susan finished second under Mark Enright for John Nicholson at 11/4, while Sharlanda was thirteen lengths back in third.
McGrath said afterwards: "There is a rated novice chase for her next at Tipperary early next month so hopefully she'll go there and then on to Clonmel in November for a Graded mares' chase.
"We'll tip away in mares' company as much as we can but there aren't many mares' races coming up until the Clonmel race.
"She is reasonably ground versatile but won't run in the extreme grounds of winter. Hopefully we'll continue to have more fun with her.
"She is lovely mare and she is bred to stay being a grand daughter of Miss Orchestra (Uttoxeter Midlands National winner)."
