Henry de Bromhead ran four in the Bet With MansionBet Handicap Chase and after the last he knew he was going to collect first prize as two of his quartet fought out the finish.
Topweight Mind’s Eye (14/1), with his impost reduced by Hugh Morgan’s 7lbs claim, just held on by a diminishing short head from Riviera Sun Reach Up was back in third, with another de Bromhead inmate, Visioman sent off the 3/1 favourite, coming home in seventh place.
It was a first victory since October 2018 for the Gigginstown-owned gelding by Stowaway, who now has two chase wins to go with two successes over hurdles.
The absent de Bromhead has now won this corresponding event three times in a row and had the winner in good shape on his first run since February, and first chase start since last November.
