Meade Smiling after Navan treble
Noel Meade enjoyed a fine afternoon at his local track when recording a treble after his charge Perfect Smile landed the conluding, Dunderry (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
Nina Carberry sent the even money favourite to the front early in the straight and the pair were soon clear and kept on for an easy seven length win over King Rufo
Winning trainer Meade said afterwards: “We’ve been very happy with this lad at home."
"We were a little disappointed with him the last day but he’s improved an awful lot since then.”
“He’s a very smart sort and we’ll probably go hurdling with him now. We bought this fellow from John Halley who recommended him.”
