Ado McGuinness is looking to Guanabara Bay and Rivellino to shine as he sends a strong team to Laytown today.
Guanabara Bay is a former winner on the Polytrack at Dundalk and got his head in front at Down Royal at the end of July.
McGuinness said: "I think he has a nice mark on 71 and he's in good form. He can be a little slow away from the gate but the beach will definitely help him as he goes on it at home.
"We've got Declan (McDonogh) booked again and he knows him well."
Rivellino was a Listed winner at Lingfield for Karl Burke in February last year and catches the eye off a rating of 76 in the O'Neill Sports-sponsored qualified riders' handicap.
"He's very well. He needs a very sound surface and ran a very good race when sixth in a premier handicap on good to firm at the Curragh in July," the County Dublin trainer said.
"He wasn't beaten too far on his last start in Dundalk and would be among my better chances." Rosenborg Rider has plenty of experience of sand surfaces having won at Kempton and placed in Dundalk and Wolverhampton.
McGuinness said: "He has been a little bit disappointing on grass but is down to a winnable mark (63). He's dropping in grade and I think he'll run a nice race.
"The ground went a bit soft at Ayr on his last run which didn't suit him."
Rosenborg Rider is joined by stablemate Free To Roam in the six-furlong heat on the card.
On Mzuri who is due to contest the claimer, McGuinness added: "We are hoping the beach might sharpen her up. On her form last year, she would nearly be favourite.
"It doesn't look the strongest race apart from Jamie Osborne's Tidal's Baby She has an each-way chance."
