Trainer Ado McGuinness retired his 19-times winner Bubbly Bellini last month but has back-up with other prolific winners in his yard as his Beau Satchel gained a ninth career success in the Morgan Fuels Handicap at Dundalk today.
Eight year old Beau Satchel gained a three parts of a length win over Nisior Donn to claim his first success of the year under jockey Ronan Whelan.
McGuinness retired eleven year old stable star Bubbly Bellini in June and has handled many other prolific winners in recent seasons, including 10-times winner Specific Gravity, five-time winner Black Label and four-time winner Guanabara Bay while his Rivellino was claimed by trainer Jamie Osbourne following his ninth career success in a Claimer in March.
Following today's success McGuinness said “everyone knows where he is going, he has won in Galway three times before!
"He's in at Killarney next week but I'll see what the handicapper does to him but more than likely we'll wait for Ballybrit.
"He finished strongly in Bellewstown and we have been very happy with him, he just seems to come to himself at this time of year and we'll definitely be heading to Galway.
"He was a little bit frustrating for a while but he is back to a winnable mark, he's in great form.
"I think that is 26 or 27 winners we have had together (with the Total Recall Racing Club) and we've had plenty of Galway winners."
