McDonogh at his best aboard Gagnant

The Ladies Day At Roscommon on July 5th Handicap saw a thrilling finish with Gagnant from the Prunella Dobbs just getting up in the closing stages.

Declan McDonogh was doing the steering was hard at work aboard the 11/4 favourite from over a furlong out.

The four year old responded well to pressure to get up lead on line and deny Blue Law by a short head.
