The well-backed Come September brought up a double for Willie McCreery and Billy Lee, as she landed the Kilkenny City & County Vintners Irish EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden.
Making her debut this afternoon, the Roderic O'Connor bay opened on-course at 20/1, before going off at 12s.
Drawn on the rail in stall one, she was settled behind the leaders and was switched to the outer from early in the straight.
She was pushed along and got to the front over a furlong from home and was ridden out in the closing stages to see off the late challenge of fellow newcomer Angel's Amy by a neck.
The runner-up was returned at 16/1 under Gary Carroll for Joe Murphy, while Jumellea (9/2) was six and a half lengths back in third. Sweet Dime was sent off the 9/10 favourite and she could only manage a disappointing fourth.
"She's owned by a syndicate with Andrew Nolan's wife and a couple of Kilkenny lads involved in her. They sent her to me last year and I thought she was a lovely filly but just a little bit backward," said McCreery, who earlier took the opener with Arabeska
"They were lovely patient owners and let me take my time with her. We targeted this race about a month ago.
"She's a nice filly and I think her and the second are two nice fillies for first time out fillies. The two of them quickened up well to the line.
"She quickened away and then Billy said she just idled a bit."
The winner was bought for just E5,000 as a yearling.
