Max Almighty causes a surprise
The Goresbridge Hanidcap Hurdle caused somewhat of a surprise when 25/1 shot Max Almighty came home in front under Barry Cash.
Cash who chased the leaders for most made some headway approaching the straight and kept on well to lead at last for a one a three parts of a length win over Road Runner
A delighed Andrew Kinsella said afterwards: "The ground really suited him today and it was great to get the win."
"Barry gave him a great ride. I don't know where we'll go next i'm just thrilled he won today."
The 4/1 favourite Mon Champion pulled up four from home.
