Master Marvel scores for O'Mara
Wayne Lordan put in a good performance to get up in the closing stages to land the Boyne Valley Heritage Handicap aboard the the Thomand O’Mara trained Master Marvel making it a double on the day for the jockey.
Lordan raced the Selkirk gelding in rear, made progress approaching straight and under a strong drive by Lordan the pair got up in the closing stages to deny the Michael Halford trained Hawkhill by 1 3/4 length.
Lordan’s earlier winner came aboard Aine when she landed the feature race on today’s card, the Belgrave Stakes.
