Marshal supplies O'Brien/Murtagh with double
The www.thetote.com Minstrel Stakes saw a game winner in the Aidan O’Brien trained Air Chief Marshal
Johnny Murtagh who guided the Danehill Dancer colt to victory was never too far off the pace.
The pair went into a clear lead over two furlongs out and kept on strongly for a length three parts success over Duff
Winning trainer O’Brien said afterwards: “Johnny [Murtagh] said he felt like a different horse the last day in Dundalk.”
“He’s really comeback to himself, he travelled well today and Johnny gave him a great ride.”
“He was a very good two year old and we’ll probably go for a Group Two now.”
