Ray Cody 's War Correspondent has more than halved in price for the opening three-year-old hurdle in Punchestown (1.45).
The Teofilo gelding was placed three times on the Flat and makes his hurdling debut today.
He trades around 5/2 from 11/2 and has Rachael Blackmore in the plate.
Cody won this race last year with Bell Ex One.
Meanwhile, Slievenamon John is 8/1 from 14/1 for the following race on the card - the extended two mile handicap hurdle.
This six-year-old gelding has switched from Sabrina Harty to Gordon Elliott.
