A trio of horses have shortened in the betting ahead of this afternoon's action in Clonmel.
The 66/1 on Caridadi for the Cannonwood Handicap Hurdle at 3.28pm has long gone.
The 11-year-old gelding is a five-time winner with his last success coming in a handicap chase at Tramore in August. Maxxum has more than halved in price to 3/1 for race two on the card - the extended two and a quarter mile maiden hurdle.
He has been unplaced in three maiden hurdles although has shown improvement each time. Jordan Canavan takes 7lb off his back again. Vintage Writer has drifted out to 12/1 for this contest.
Liz Doyle 's Yabo is very solid for the Kilmanahan Beginners Steeplechase (4.03pm) where The Declaimer is a notable non runner.
