Noel Meade's Beacon Edge has attracted plenty of support this morning and is now as short as 5/4 for the Grade 3 hurdle at 1.35pm in Tipperary.
He is coming off a break since March when beaten a neck in Listed company at Naas. In February he was denied by a nose in a Group 2 at the same track. Saint Roi is easy to back in the same race and is even money from 1/2. Jack Holiday has been backed down to 7/2 from 15/2 for the Tipperary Handicap Steeplechase at 4.08pm.
He has first-time cheekpieces and was a beaten favourite in sixth in a handicap chase at Clonmel on Thursday.
In Killarney, Dermot Weld's Coltor has halved in price (5/1 - 5/2) for the extended mile and three median auction maiden at 3.25pm.
The Free Eagle gelding sports a first-time visor after a pair of fifth places in maidens.
