The odds on several horses running at Navan today have contracted sharply in early trading.
Peter Mooney, who last had a racecourse winner in 2007, saddles Meryems Way for the opening fillies' maiden (at 2.10pm) where she is 14/1 from 50/1. She was seventh of nine on debut at Naas last month.
Patrick Prendergast introduces Inflorescence for this race and she has been well backed from 25/1 to 10/1.
Eddie Lynam 's Tide Of Time has halved in price (12/1 to 6/1) on seasonal debut for the apprentice handicap at 3.45pm. This Choisir colt was unplaced in three maidens last season. Sometimesadiamond is popular for the Listed Salsabil Stakes at 4.15pm. Jim Bolger's charge has been cut from 14/1 to 6/1. Thiswaycadeaux has plenty of supporters for the fillies' handicap (at 3.15pm). Nathan Crosse's mount is 5/2 from 9/2.
