Manx Miss scores for Myerscough
Dave Myerscough who was successful with Captive Audience at Tramore yesterday was back in the winner’s enclosure after his charge Manx Miss landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.
Johnny Murtagh /a> sent his mount to the front 100 yards from home for a three parts of length win over Shareen
Winning trainer Myerscough stated afterwards: “It was nice to get a two year old winner, we were running out of time. Johnny said he really liked her.”
“We’ve always thought a lot of her at home and we might try and pick up a bit of Black Type before the season ends.”
“We’ll see how she comes out of the race before we make plans. She’s nice big filly and she's only going to improve from that.”
“She’s very well bred, her Dam is a half sister to Storm Cat. Peter O’Shea who owns her is from Australia, he has a stud in Sydney called Manx Park and that’s how she got her name.”
