Level Of Intensity recorded his first win on his seventh start, as he took the www.gowranpark.ie Handicap.
Fifth on his last three starts, the Jim Bolger trained bay was available at 10/1 in early shows, opening on-course at 8s, before going off a 7/1 chance.
Settled behind the leaders on the outer, the son of Intense Focus took closer order on the approach to the straight, and was ridden to the front from the two furlong pole.
He kept up the gallop inside the final furlong, staying on well to score by two and a half lengths. Less Of That (5/1fav) had to settle for second under David Simmonson for Johnny Feane, while 33/1 shot Milish was another length and a half back in third for Chris Hayes and Paul Deegan.
Jim Bolger said afterwards: "Little fish are sweet. He's 16'2hh and will make a lovely three-year-old hurdler.
"He's in tomorrow night. He'll have another day whether it's for me or someone else."
STEWARDS REPORT
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Nicaragua (GB), trained by C. O'Keeffe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
