Madden gets Hyperdrive up close home
Hyperdrive and Tom Madden (near) arrive to beat Epitaph

Hyperdrive swooped late to give Jessica Harrington an across the card double when winning at Limerick this afternoon.
Harrington had struck at Gowran with Red Label 45 minutes earlier and stable apprentice Tom Madden was on board this time. Epitaph looked to come with a winning charge to lead in the closing stages of the final furlong only to be nabbed in the dying strides by 100/30 favourite Hyperdrive.
The winner had been denied by half a length on his return to action at Leopardstown earlier in the month.
"The ground was a shade quick for him but he travelled great and kept galloping well to the line,” said Madden.
"He'll go further and 1m4f would even suit better. That's my second winner this season and both have been for Mrs Harrington. I'm with her full-time but am apprenticed to my dad (trainer Niall Madden) so I'd better ride a winner for him soon or he'll be giving out!"
