In greyhound coursing parlance, Love And Cherish and Dark Pulse had a great buckle at the business end of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden with the former prevailing by a head in the hands of Billy Lee at Dundalk.
Lee gave a rare airing to the Gigginstown House Stud silks at this venue and Love And Cherish, a daughter of Excellent Art, is trained by David Wachman.
Lee commented: "She did it well and she travelled well. The runner-up kept at her but my filly had a bit more in reserve. She kept responding and she's a nice prospect for next year." (MG & EM)
