Lordan & Stack off the mark at Gowran
The opening race at Gowran Park this evening was won by Smart Coco trained by Tommy Stack and ridden by Wayne Lordan for owner Michael O'Flynn.
Lordan settled his mount in mid-division and under a strong drive Lordan's mount ran on well to lead inside final furlong and win by 2 lengths.
Fozzie Stack said afterwards, 'She ran a bit green but she quickened up well and got the hang of things. She's a big sort and we'll see how she comes out of the race before we make any plans.'
