Linehan shows cool head on Boy
Eddie Linehan lost his 10lb claim when giving Laughing Boy a confident ride in the 1m4f handicap at Fairyhouse.
The Willie Mullins-trained gelding hit the front under a furlong from home and kept on well in the closing stages to score by two-length from Articilitis
"That's great for Eddie as that's his 10lb gone. It's only his second ride of the year and it will launch him for the season," said Mullins.
"The winner will stay handicapping but it might be tough after winning that." Unfortunately Mullins other runner Cru suffered a fatal injury.
