Following an inspection this morning, Limerick was found to be fit for racing and the meeting scheduled for today goes ahead. There is fresh ground on the hurdle track.
After 8mm of rain yesterday, and a dry night, the ground remains Heavy. A dry and windy day is forecast.
An eight-race card gets under way at 11.55am.
Charles Byrnes' Off You Go heads the market for the Grade B Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Steeplechase at 2.45pm.
Meanwhile, in Leopardstown the going is Yielding (on chase course) and Soft (on hurdle/bumper track) following 3mm of rain overnight. There are blustery conditions with showers expected.
There are two Grade Ones on the card - the Leopardstown Christmas Hurdle at 1.15pm and the Savills Steeplechase at 2.25pm.
