Lily Scores at Down Royal Again
Moran Gra did Joanna Morgan proud at Royal Ascot when fourth behind the hugely impressive Canford Cliffs and she continued her rich vein of form when Danetime Lily landed the Dixon Contractors Ltd. Handicap (her second over the course and distance and her fourth under Davy Moran).
Davy Moran rode the top-weight and she just held off the favourite, Richelieu by the minimum margin.
Katie, representing her Mum said: "She did it well - she is a battler. She got into trouble at Navan the last day but thankfully today she got a clear run."
As for Joanna she broke her leg at Christmas but it has healed wrong so it had to be reset and she is currently unable to go racing.
