Levey gets Gold home
Quest For Gold completed a double for Ballydoyle at Wexford as Sean Levey deputised for Johnny Murtagh on the Sadler's Wells three-year-old, the three parts of a length victor of the I.T.B.A. (Southeast Region) Supporting Wexford Maiden.
Quest For Gold made all and he hung on tenaciously from the well-backed favourite, Alburj (15/8 in the morning into 5/4) with Star Power third and the second market choice Behtarini only fourth.
Levey commented: "Turning in I thought he was beat but he kept finding for me. He holds back an awful lot at home so that's why he has the blinkers on."
Ballydoyle had previously had a one two in the 5.30 with Luxurious and Poinsettia
