After his handicap debut win over half a mile shorter last Friday, 11/8 favourite Lord Lariat made a quick return to Tipperary and followed up under a five pounds penalty in division one of the MansionBets best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Hurdle over 3m.
Trained by man in form Karl Thornton (now six winners from eleven runners across both codes since racing resumed), the winner was brought gradually through the field by Donagh Meyler and moved into second behind Eimear as they faced up to the second last.
He mastered that one before the last and ran on to score by two and a half lengths with Eimear running a blinder to finish fully 20 lengths clear of the rest.
Winning trainer Karl Thornton said: "He didn't jump as slick as he did the last day but it was probably due to the ground (yielding, soft in places).
"I didn't think they would get as much rain as they did here and it's not ideal.
"It is hard on a big horse to come back so quick but it was his last chance today in a 80-95.
"If I don't give him a break now, we'll pay for it down the road and we'll see what the handicapper does with him now."
