Lad gets job done
Oola Lad justified support when landing the ‘Tote Trifecta Rollover’ Handicap Chase for trainer Edward O’Grady.
Pat Mangan who was doing the steering sent the 9/4 favourite to the front five from home and kept on well from last to hold off the fast finishing Surenaga by a head.
Winning trainer O’Grady said afterwards: “It’s nice to have a few Summer horses, we had no Summer ground last year.”
“The horses are running well for us at the moment.”
“We’ll go for another handicap but I’d say the handicapper has a hold of him now as he only won by a head.”
