Kinane impresses at Leopardstown
The opening race this afternoon The Irish Stallions EBF Fillies maiden was won by the John Oxx trained Baliyana with Michael Kinane in the saddle wearing the familiar colours of His Highness The Aga Khan.
Kinane made all on this filly by Dalakhani and won by an easy 3 lengths to lose her maiden status on the third time of asking.
John Oxx said afterwards, "She improved a bit on the better ground, it was very heavy here the last day and it's amazing the ground is as good as it is I can't understand it. She'll go for The Parks Stakes at The Curragh in 3 weeks time. She stays well so we let her sit out in front."
